Get a FREE ฿60 FOOD VOUCHER from Grab Food

Updated: Oct 8, 2023

Grab's Priority Delivery Option leaves a lot of wiggle-room to get up to 2x 60 Baht FOOD VOUCHERS for Grab Food. Only requirement: Really bad weather ⛈

DISCLAIMER: Grab has fixed / removed this hack! (August 2023) I'm not sure how long this option can theoretically be exploited, but currently it is possible to opt for a Priority Delivery option on Grab for just 15-25 Baht and receive a 60 Baht Food Voucher if your order is late or if grab has to cancel your order (incl. full refund of order).

If you click on "More information" you'll quickly discover that Grab Food will compensate you if the order is late, or cancelled due to a lack of driver's to pick up your order.

If the weather is really bad in Bangkok, it can take several attempts to actually get a food order through, since everyone starts ordering in. At the same time, there are less drivers available who are willing to pick-up an order during bad weather conditions. ⛈

This is actually a no-brainer, but instead of being frustrated that your food order is constantly cancelled due to a lack of drivers, you can much better opt-in for Grab's Priority Delivery Option for 15 Baht extra.

All outcomes are pretty much in your favour:

  1. Order goes through - Congrats, for 15 Baht extra you finally receive your food and don't have to go out yourself during a thunderstorm! Yay!

  2. Order get cancelled - The worse the weather, the more likely your order will be cancelled due to a lack of drivers willing to pick your order. You'll receive a full refud and a 60 Baht Food Voucher on top. Yay!

  3. Order is late - This is also very likely during bad weather. You won't get a refund of your order, but you'll receive a 60 Baht Food Voucher (-15 Baht for Priority Delivery) which technically leaves you with 45 Baht profit. Yay!

Note: Grab Food will remove the Priority Delivery Option after you have already received two 60 Baht Vouchers to prevent you from exploiting this feature.

It is also likely that Grab Food will deactivate their Priority Delivery feature during prolonged or extreme bad weather conditions.

Enjoy your food! Comment below if you have other interesting hustles to look into!

Patpong - The Secret History of Bangkok's Notorious Nightlife District 💃🏻

This episode uncovers Patpong's evolution, from its roots in a banana plantation to one of Southeast Asia's most modern business & nightlife districts, which was center stage to covert CIA operations during the Secret War in Laos. Discover the impact of Air America, expat bars post-Vietnam War, and the notorious figures who called Patpong home. Join me as I interview the owner of the legendary Bar Madrid and a former Air America pilot, revealing untold stories of covert operations, nightlife, and infamous characters like Jack Shirley, Tony Poe & Charles Sobhraj, "The Serpent." Explore the intriguing intersections of history, war, and nightlife that shaped Patpong into the vibrant area it is today. ⚠️Important Correction: Coppola denies that Poe was a primary influence for Colonel Kurtz and says the character was loosely based on Special Forces Colonel Robert B. Rheault. Although the similarities to Tony Poe are striking, and it’s widely stated online & in museums, it was never confirmed by the director himself. --------- 📕 Bangkok Babylon | Giveaway I give away one copy of this Bangkok classic by Jerry Hopkins, who encountered, talked to & wrote stories about many of the character from this episode.
